Question:
When you have time, do you need to nail if you are using T&G and an adhesive on the flooring?
Answer:
Dear Ben
Anyway, it’s simple. If you’ve cut the T&G you simply follow the procedure in the first part of the article. Just nail it like a strip floor (no adhesive is needed) and go back to screw and plug the ends and some of the long boards. It’s all in the article Ben. I’ll include a NHA file containing the T&G configuration, that’s ideal for 3/4″ flooring. This could be scaled up to thicker wood. Study the picture well, it’s more complex than you think.
As always your Most humble servant, Joseph, the Wood Floor Doctor.
